From September of 1957 through December of 1958, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. penned an advice column for EBONY.

He probably stopped, in part because he was nearly killed by Izola Curry Ware

in September 1958 and was still recovering from her stabbing him.

another Jeffrey Wright performance that I loved, finds him in the role of none other than Martin Luther King, Jr. himself. I tell you, I wasn’t really feeling this movie initially until I first heard Wright in the pulpit.
